About company

Kuyavian originally consisted of 2 settlements, the older was Slavic, the younger German. The German settlement was founded by the local Fojt Clemens, it was called Clemensdorf and it was founded around 1293. Later, both settlements merged into one village, while the Czech part became Germanized. In the second half of the 16th century, priests from the Fulnek Convent had to administer the parish. During his time in Fulnek, the J. A. Komenský brothers visited Kuyav. It provided sustenance for the inhabitants, mainly agriculture and small crafts. Due to the very good soil and climatic conditions, based on the hard work of the villagers, the village was very showy. During the occupation, the village became part of Germany. She was released on May 3, 1945.
