The village of Tísek is located in the Oderské vrchy Nature Park at an altitude of 440 meters above sea level. The village is surrounded by forests and the surroundings are mostly hilly with a view of the mighty background of the Beskydy mountains. The area of the cadastral territory of the village is 8.21 km2. The development of the village is modern without historical buildings. Important buildings in the village include the school building and the church of St. Cyril and Methodius. The village has less than 1,000 inhabitants. The center of social events in the village is a cultural house, which was renovated in 1961. The house serves citizens for the implementation of various cultural events such as balls, dance parties, but also theater performances.
