Uhřičice is located in the southern part of the Přerov district, on the right bank of the Morava river at a distance of 20 km from the district town. The nearest town Kojetín is 2 km away. According to legend, Uhřičice was founded by a Czech monarch during a war expedition against Hungary. Their name can be interpreted as "the village of the Uhřík people". The first written mention dates back to 1131. There is a water supply system, reconstruction of electricity distribution, gasification. There are two restaurants and three general stores in the village. The kindergarten has a capacity of 30 children. The village has more than 500 inhabitants.
