The village of Sedlnice with more than 1,600 inhabitants is located northwest of the town of Příbor. Part of the village is the settlement Borovec. Sedlnice is one of the oldest villages in the Příbor region. More than seven centuries have passed since the first written records of the name of the stream "ab aqua Zedelniz" in 1267 and the name of the village "media villa Sedlicz" in 1359. In the village there is a nature reserve called Sedlnické sněženky. For a million years, this white bell, often still under snow, bloomed on the banks of the Sedlnička and announced that spring was here. In Sedlnice there is a primary and kindergarten, a library, an internet café, a general practitioner's office and several pubs.
