The village, formed by the local parts of Lodhéřov, Najdek and Studnice, is located about 9 km northwest of Jindřichův Hradec in the direction of Deštná. The village has about 650 inhabitants. The first written mention of the village dates from 1294. Swimming is possible in a nearby pond. The surroundings of Lodhéřov, and especially Najdek, are also very suitable for beautiful walks and mushroom picking. The village of Lodhéřov is the founder of the Primary and Kindergarten School in Lodhéřov. Football and table tennis are also actively played in Lodhéřov, under the banner of TJ Sokol Lodhéřov. The village of Lodhéřov currently owns about 288 ha of forest, in which it manages. All cultivation activities are provided by the municipality's own employees.
