The village of Bílov lies on a plateau on the edge of the Nízký Jeseník. The entire cadastre of the village belongs to the Oderské vrchy nature park. The southern part falls relatively steeply into the valley of the Odra and the slope towards Bílovec is steep. Despite the lack of running water, this place has been inhabited since ancient times. Finds from the Late Stone Age (clay coil, cut and chipped stone tools) come from various places in the cadastre of the village. In the village we find a kindergarten. Active associations include the Hunting Association and the Fishermen's Association. After independence, a gas supply, a wastewater treatment plant and a sewerage system, a sports complex, a house with 8 residential units and the Hubleska and Paseky reservoirs were built in the village
